We currently have nine licensed massage therapists who work at Peaceful Nature Massage, Inc. All of our therapists are very knowledgeable of postural analysis and making sure that you are receiving the massage that you desire.

Amy Blackburn attended the Institute of Therapeutic Massage and Wellness in Davenport, IA and greatly enjoys giving Swedish and Trigger Point massages. Amy also enjoys gymnastics and has been a coach for many years.

Arianna Bennett has been a massage therapist for over eight years and attended the Eastwind School in Iowa City. Arianna greatly enjoys giving Shiatsu and Cranial Sacral massages. She is also trained in Swedish, Pregnancy massage and multiple massage modalities. Arianna keeps herself busy playing with her dog and cats as well as fixing up her new home and planning her upcoming wedding.
 
Christy Andersen graduated from Eastwind School of Holistic Healing in 2005, specializing in Shiatsu, Swedish massage as well as Reiki. She has also pursued studies in Whole Foods Nutrition, Traditional Chinese Medicine and herbalism. Christy enjoys gardening, yoga, cooking, dream studies and spending time outdoors. Christy is currently on maternity leave.

Deb Elshoff graduated from Carlson College and greatly enjoys giving Swedish and Trigger Point massages. Deb enjoys spending time outdoors in her garden and baking.

Donald Reed has been a massage therapist for four years. Don specializes in Swedish, Sports and pregnancy massage as well as  myofascial release. He also enjoys doing reflexology treatments. Don attended LaJames College in Mason City, IA. Don was inspired to be a massage therapist after watching the movie "At First Sight" because he too is visually impaired.

Erin McGraw is a graduate from LaJames College in Iowa City. Erin does a well-versed massage that can be modified for each client. Erin specializes in Swedish, Trigger Point and Deep Tissue massages. When Erin is not hanging out at Peaceful Nature Massage she is usually relaxing with her friends or spending time at the Wedge Pizzeria.

Lisa Troughton graduated from the Denver School of Massage Therapy in 2004. She is the owner of Peaceful Nature Massage and currently is not giving massages on a daily basis. She greatly enjoys giving Swedish, Trigger Point and Pregnancy massage. When Lisa is not at the office she is usually spending time with her amazing family, Lisa has two young daughters.

Rebecca Harding graduated from Carlson College in Stone City, IA. Rebecca specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point and loves giving pregnancy and hot rock massages. Rebecca spends her time currently finishing up wedding plans and spending time with her friends and family.

Tracy Thoreson offers 22 years of experience in massage therapy. She attended The International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego California. Tracy loves to travel and has gone as far as Australia to attend massage workshops. Her modalities cover a wide range but her specialties are Craniosacral Therapy, Lymphatic Draniage Therapy, and Therapeutic Swedish massage. Tracy's passion is weaving these together to create a customized massage for her clients.
